The Van Aken District is a new shopping & dining district located in the heart of Shaker Heights. We’ve taken over the most prominent storefront in the Market Hall for a curated selection of our favorite makers. It’s a really cool opportunity to be a part of a vibrant community of Cleveland’s favorite originals– and if you don’t have a presence on the east side– to reach out to an entirely new client base. Note that this is not an in-person market, it’s a retail shop! No need for you to be there, we’ll be merchandising, selling, marketing, managing and bringing more locally-made goods to Cleveland!

Well curated, high quality handmade items that are perfect for the gift-giving season and based on the season.
How long is the shop open?
The shop is open Friday, December 21 to Saturday, December 22 10am to 8pm, December 23 from 10am to 6pm; and Monday, December 24th from 10am to 5pm.
When can I drop off my items | restock | pick up?
Items needs to be at the store location on Monday prior to the opening of the shop (December 17th). Pickup of items will be between December 26 - 28th.
How many vendors will you have?
We are planning on a max of 40 vendors.
What is the cost to participate?
The cost to reserve space in the pop-up shop is a non-refundable $250, and then you keep 100% of the sales.
How much stuff can I bring?
Depending on the scale, we’d like you to bring approximately $1000 worth of product at its full retail price. We can also help you decide what / how much to bring.
