When we decided we were relocating from San Diego CA to Cleveland - like most big changes in life - you can imagine I had ALL sorts of feelings. Everything from scared and nervous to anticipation and excitement. I’d been living in Southern California for the past 13 years so it had become my home. Prior to moving to Cleveland I started doing a little online ‘research’ if you will - who am I kidding?! More like a little insta stalking if I’m being real! And what I found from my early mornings deep in Instagram was SO exciting! I found people who were passionate and in LOVE with their city - as they should be! I found creators supporting one another left and right. I found people who inspired me to take action on my dreams. I knew then that this is where I wanted to be. I wanted to be ‘in it together’ and a part of the creative Cleveland community.

It was no different once I got to ‘The Land’. I found myself connecting with like minded people and being inspired by each and every one of them. ‘IN IT TOGETHER’ has come to mean all this and more to me. It’s one of the truest statements that can be said about the sense of community I’ve experienced so far here in Cleveland. People here want to lift each other up and grow together - not alone.

Naturally, when I saw the ‘In it together’ tank by Emily Roggenburk and the Cleveland Flea I knew I needed one. This simple tank embodied what I was trying to tell everyone Cleveland was! And not to mention it’s so cute and the easiest thing to style. I’ve been tying all my tanks and tees in knots lately which is exactly how I’ve been wearing this one! I’ll usually pair it with distressed denim but think it would look amazing tied in a knot and paired with a high waisted floral skirt as well - think casual with a little flair. This tank makes for the perfect summertime look all while making a statement and representing the amazing community here in CLE.
