Freshen-Up With August's New Flea Faces!

Every month our favorite Flea vendors set sail and plan their return to port Tyler to celebrate their new collections, creations, and new found treasures. In addition to our staple vendors we all love and come out to support each month, are our new vendors! Check back here every month to find out who will be joining our CLE Flea Fleet!

  • Who they are: Jen Husted-Goss runs the cute-but-quirky Arthur’s Plaid Pants, specializing in hand-drawn illustrations adopted from pop culture moments.
  • Why we love them: They’ll make you laugh and then they’ll make you laugh some more. Everything that Jen creates makes us want to take a trip back in time to when nothing was bad and Kool-aid was the drink of choice.
  • Team Flea Pick: We’re having a hard time thinking of a person who wouldn’t wear Jen’s enamel Freddie Mercury pin on their jean jacket. Seriously, if you find that person, let us know.

  • Who they are: Bullenbeisser is a handmade dog boutique, specializing in fun and unique dog collars and accessories for your adorable pups!
  • Why we love them: Bullenbeisser knows that pets are family, too, and if family gets birthday presents... pets should as well!
  • Team Flea Pick: Their arrow dog bed cover is so smart! They really think through all of the details: covered zipper, durable canvas, stylish print. #SOLD!

  • Who they are: Coastline Bowls, run by Tricia Reddy, is Cleveland’s first mobile exotic superfuit cafe. They bring a fun, health conscious and active attitude to the market!
  • Why we love them: Tricia has made it her mission to be a socially-conscious business owner. All of her superfruit is exotic, meaning that it makes the long journey directly from it’s source in South America to grace our palettes up here in the north. The most heartwarming facet of this is that the fruit farmers who sell to Coasline Bowls are all single mothers. Happy mouths, happy bellies, happy hearts!
  • Team Flea Pick: We can’t get enough of their coconut, chia, raspberry, and blackberry bowl. Not only is it beautiful to look at, it’s full of fiber and antioxidants. Win, win!

  • Who they are: Double Clutched is run by seamstress Cheryl Williams, who crafts modern and unique accessories by-hand that are meant to compliment everyone's style.
  • Why we love them: Falling in love with a Double Clutched bag is a breeze. There are so many patterns and colors to choose from. We’d be willing to bet that Cheryl has a different bag for every day of the year!
  • Team Flea Pick: Double Clutched’s limited edition wristlets have caught our eye for more than one reason. Not only are they cute, but they’re so versatile!

  • Who they are: Piper Paperie & Design, run by Marissa Connelly, curates unique and dreamy paper and home goods. Their fresh bohemian designs liven-up the world of print and make people excited to party with paper again.
  • Why we love them: Paper is a lifestyle with Piper Paperie & Design. To them, stationery isn’t just something you send to friends, but a way of cultivating your space and influencing your outlook.
  • Team Flea Pick: Three words- pineapple wall calendar.

  • Who they are: Jenny Rostkowski runs Detroit Jam Co., which creates artisanal jams in unique flavor combinations made in small batches.
  • Why we love them: Their flavor combinations are fearless! Have you ever tried watermelon strawberry rose jam? What about white nectarine lavender jam? We know you’ve never tasted carrot cake jam before!
  • Team Flea Pick: We’re always down for a culinary kick in the teeth, which must be why we love Detroit Jam Co.’s cherry habanero lime jam so much. It brings a tear to our eye and a smile to our lips every time.

  • Who they are: Dana Broeker runs Revival Vintage, a vintage clothing and accessories boutique selling garments ranging from 40s to 90s with an earthy, easy, everyday, modern look and feel.
  • Why we love them: They know how to help you incorporate vintage pieces into your day-to-day wardrobe without making it look like you stepped out of a time machine.
  • Team Flea Pick: We’re really loving Dana’s vintage 80’s rust and white printed cinch waist secretary dress. The keyhole back is such an understated detail!

  • Who they are: Sarah Krisher Studio’s slogan, "Everywear, Everyday, Handmade Jewelry", embodies the versatility and effortlessness of incorporating the unique handmade pieces into your own style and daily life.
  • Why we love them: Sarah, the company’s namesake and owner, creates jewelry that makes us feel and look like adults. That’s harder than you’d think.
  • Team Flea Pick: We love to layer her “Thin Off-Set Raised Striped” bangle with our other bracelets and cuffs for a finessed take on bohemian.

  • Who they are: Smoothie Face is a family-owned and operated food truck that serves delicious and nutritious fruit and veggie smoothies.
  • Why we love them: The patriarch of the Smoothie Face family, Bill, is an engineer by day. Believe it or not, he designed, built, and did the electrical work for the entire interior of the truck. Dang, Bill!
  • Team Flea Pick: Their “I Got a Crusher on You” smoothie… picture this: blended coconut milk, orange, and pineapple. It’s as sweet as a kiss on the cheek!

  • Who they are: Timeless Treasures Revisited is the business of Jeff Yezbak and Jim Anderson. They alter antique and vintage items by welding, waxing, priming, and painting them back to life!

  • Why we love them: Jeff and Jim have been picking estate sales, auctions, and flea markets long before it became trendy. They know what they’re looking for, what their merchandise is worth, and they can talk about their inventory’s history as if they were the original owners!
  • Team Flea Pick: Their selection of old tools really has our hearts in a vice. Can you imagine all of the great stuff that must have been made with those things?

  • Who they are: Woolly Mammoth Design, run by Amber Adams-Fall, conceives and hand-makes all of their toys to inspire a sense of joy and whimsy.
  • Why we love them: They use as much vintage and recycled material as possible, and produce the types of lovable, imaginative toys that us older folks (read: non-toddlers) enjoyed during our own childhoods.
  • Team Flea Pick: Benjamin Button syndrome might be worth it if we could wear Woolly Mammoth’s vegan baby shoes. We’d be the best dressed infants ever.

  • Who they are: Bel Monili is run by Lucy Kelly. Her business focuses on the production of one-of-a-kind hand-crafted jewelry and accessories using vintage and repurposed materials.
  • Why we love them: The jewelry that Bel Monili creates is a hybrid of bygone deades. No piece can be placed in one single era, which gives their jewelry a really fun edge.
  • Team Flea Pick: We can’t keep our eyes off of their recycled milk glass bead bracelet. It’s the perfect amount of glam for everyday, but wouldn’t be out of place on the arm of a bride.

  • Who they are: juNxtaposition focuses on the creation of upcycled and repurposed jewelry using materials that would have otherwise been headed for the dump.
  • Why we love them: None of the products created by juNxtaposition scream “I was almost garbage!” What’s that saying about trash and treasure?
  • Team Flea Pick: We love their typewriter key pendants. Although the initials seem to be popular with shoppers, we have personally taken a liking to the asterisk key!
